NORTH VASSALBORO – Victor J. “Sonny” LeBretton, 59, died unexpectedly Jan. 5, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Old Town, a son of Victor Sr. and Mary (Cox) LeBretton Campo. Sonny enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid coin collector. He is survived by his sister, Patricia K. Wray and her husband, Charles, of Voluntown, Conn.; two nephews, Ralph and Justin Wray; uncle, Charles Cox and his wife, Anita, of Orono; aunts, Lorraine Dunn of Old Town and Phyllis Cox of Orrington; and special friends, Darrin and Barbara Champain. He was predeceased by his father, Victor Lebretton Sr.; his mother, Mary Campo; grandparents, Patricia and Harold Cox; and uncle, Louis LeBretton. A graveside service at Lawndale Cemetery will be announced in the spring.
