MILLINOCKET – William C. “Bill” Kenyon lll, 55, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at his home. He was born Aug. 11, 1953, in Millinocket. Bill was a graduate of Stearns High School and later attended and graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor’s degree in science. He also served his country for several years in the U.S. Air Force. He loved to write poetry and fill his heart and soul with many genres of music. His father, William C. Kenyon ll, predeceased Bill. He is survived by his three children, Susan Kenyon, William C. “Michael” Kenyon IV and Tracey Kenyon, all of Sacramento, Calif. Bill also leaves behind his best friend and mother of his three children, Kathryn Gagnier Gifford of Port Orange, Fla.; grandsons, Jacob and Joey Pankow of Sacramento, Calif.; mother, Irene Kenyon of Millinocket; brothers, Steve Kenyon and his wife, Diana, of Millinocket and Chris Kenyon and his wife, Robin, of Millinocket; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. In Bill’s own words, “fear not my passing, it was a fated to be eventually; have joy in the living of life I have lived. I now and tomorrow will live through you.” A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 19 Colby St., Millinocket.
