FORT FAIRFIELD – Mylon W. “Mike” McLaughlin, 79, husband of Mrs. Joan (Sickles) McLaughlin, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 14, 2009, at a Caribou nursing facility, after a brief illness. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. A graveside service of committal will be held later in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor. Those who wish may contribute in Mr. McLaughlin’s memory to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, Inc., One Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
