Katherine and Norman’s marriage of 63 years was a testimony of love and kindness in action. She was dearly loved and deeply respected by her family. She will be so greatly missed. She was baptized Jan. 1, 1955, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a member of Bangor South Congregation. She had a strong faith and loved to praise her God, Jehovah, to everyone she met, walking many years in the ministry from house to house. Even shortly before Katherine’s death, she was writing letters of her hope for the future with interested ones. She was a talented seamstress and made so many beautiful clothes for her daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and others. She was a hard worker, conscientious, honest and forgiving. Family has always meant so very much to her and she always desired the very best for each member of her family doing anything possible to help in any way she could. She looks forward to God’s promise of a resurrection and living in a paradise Earth, where there will be no sickness, suffering, tears or death and where she will be re-united with her loved ones again. A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Bangor.
