MELBOURNE, Fla. – Wendell G. Morse, 78, a retired electrician, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009. He was born in Easton. Wendell came to Brevard County, Fla., in 1993 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Melbourne. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion; son, Amos and Joan Morse; daughter, Elizabeth and Frank Mentzer; and grandchildren, Emma Morse, Bradley and Matthew Mentzer. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel, Melbourne, Fla. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Melbourne building fund.
