At Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island out scored Central of Corinth 16-2 in the second quarter to pull away to victory. Nate Ward scored 13 points to pace the Trojans. Matt Kelley led Central with eight points.

At Fort Fairfield, Austin Dufour scored 23 points as Fort Fairfield defeated Washburn. Josh Booth had 12 points for the Tigers. Doug Sharpe scored 11 points and Matt Cresenzo added 10 points. Nick McIntosh led the Beavers with 19 points while Connor Fitzpatrick chipped in 13 points.
Shead 62, Machias 47
At Eastport, the Tigers outscored the Bulldogs 14-5 in the third quarter and pulled away. Thomas Pottle and Tyler Mitchell netted 15 points each to pace Shead, while Wayne Clossey provided 14 points and 10 rebounds. Justin Lewey grabbed 10 rebounds. Michael Jenkins connected for seven 3-pointers en route to a game-high 32 points for Machias. Ty Richards added 13 points.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Josiah Richard scored 24 points and provided seven steals and four assists to spark the Ponies to victory. Ryan Stroud netted 20 points for Foxcroft Academy and James Johnson added eight points and seven rebounds. Cam Wentworth led Bucksport with nine points and Jon Goodin added eight.

At Ellsworth, Ryan Petros tossed in 22 points to spark the Eagles to victory. Andrew Austin provided 14 points and nine rebounds for Ellsworth and Brad Folmer posted 13 points, seven assists and four steals. Ryan Carr paced John Bapst of Bangor with 12 points.
Central Aroostook 52, Easton 45
At Easton, Caleb Kelly scored 12 points and Manny Martinez added 11 as the defending Class D state champions earned their ninth consecutive win. Kasey Brewer and Brendan York each contributed nine points to the balanced Central Aroostook of Mars Hill attack. Brad Trask scored 19 points and Sam Bacon added 16 for Easton, which cut a 14-point halftime deficit to two points midway through the fourth quarter.

At Rockland, Mike McCann led all scoring with 19 points, and Scott Siviski contributed 11 to pace the Black Raiders to victory. Teel Ilvonen paces the Tigers with 13 points including three 3-pointers. Lincoln Dresser and Chris Nolan each added 10 points.

At Blue Hill, Blake Chase scored a game high 23 points to pace the Knights from Harrington. Rashad Frazier fired in 20 points and Nick Saunders added 10 to pace the Eagles.

At Madawaska, Deejay Gendreau scored 14 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Madawaska overcame a 24-point performance by Matt Harvey and avenged an earlier loss. Brandon Bosse and Timothy Albert had 13 points apiece and Albert also had six steals. Adam Desrosier and Matthew Deschenes combined for 17 more Madawaska points. Alex Charette’s 10 points complimented Harvey’s 24.

At Brewer, Ben Russell scored 25 points and had six steals as the Cougars pulled away in the second half for a key Class A road victory. Jamie Sawyer added 16 points and seven assists for 12-3 Mt. Blue of Farmington, while Sean Simpson scored 10 points and Ryan Backus grabbed 14 rebounds. Ray Bessette led 12-3 Brewer with 16 points, while Dom Drake scored 13 and Billy Bissell added eight points and nine rebounds.
J-B Royals 71, Calvary Chapel 43
At Jonesport, all 12 Royals recorded points led by Harry Beal’s 12 and Andrew Beal’s 10 points as Jonesport-Beals cruised to the win. Harold Lyons and Tyler Turcotte had eight points apiece for the winners. Luke Martin had nine points for Calvary Chapel of Orrington and Jared Madden and Zac Austin chipped in with eight apiece.
Woodland 60, Lee 44
At Woodland, Ben Sears scored 20 points as Woodland defeated Lee Academy. Chad James had 19 points for the Dragons. Aaron St. Pierre scored 12 points and Ed Flaherty chipped in 15 rebounds. Tyler Doty scored 12 points for the Pandas.

At East Machias, Ben Teer had 20 points and three assists as Washington Academy beat Calais. Noah Von Rotz scored 12 points for the Raiders while Bryce Colbeth had 10 points, 14 rebounds and three steals. Cal Shorey led Calais with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Leeman scored 12 points.

At Bangor, Kyle Savage scored 13 points as Bangor routed Messalonskee of Oakland. Brian Higgins added 10 points for the Rams. Justin Meader paced the Eagles with 11 points.
Hampden 76, Lawrence 62
At Hampden, Nolan Turner scored 24 points to lead Hampden Academy to victory over Lawrence of Fairfield. Brad Dolan had 16 points and five assists for the Broncos and Jacob Moore chipped in 13 points. Ben Violette scored 18 points to lead Lawrence. Brooks Spaulding and Matt Perkins had 11 points each.
Skowhegan 67, Nokomis 33
At Newport, Jordan Taylor scored 18 points to lead Skowhegan past Nokomis. Nate Thistle had 13 points for the Skow-hegan. Darius Bryant scored 12 points for Nokomis.
PVHS 40, Bangor Christian 33
At Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor, Jake Jones scored five of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter and Joe McCloskey also had five as Penobscot Valley of Howland gradually pulled away for the triumph. Ethan Babineau finished with 14 points for the winners and McCloskey had nine. Tyler Alexander’s 13 points and Brett Bradford’s 12 led Bangor Christian.
Hodgdon 74, Gr. Houlton Chr. 64
At Hodgdon, Andrew McGillicuddy scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Hawks prevailed. McGillicuddy also went 8 for 8 at the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to help Hodgdon preserve the victory. Chris Williams added 21 points and five steals for the Hawks, while A.J. Acott scored 12 points and Travis Quint had 11. Chad Duff scored a game-high 34 points for Greater Houlton Christian Academy. Zach Straubel added 12 points and Micah Wiley scored 11.
Greenville 55, Valley 45 (OT)
At Bingham, Richie Munster scored six of his game-high 18 points in overtime as Greenville outscored Valley 12-2 to notch the victory. Munster also had four steals. Tony DeAngelo had 13 points and eight rebounds, Alex Jardine contributed 10 points and three steals and Joe Gilbert chipped in with seven points and nine rebounds. Cam Miller’s 16 points and Chris Beane’s 13 powered Valley.

Caribou 47, Presque Isle 41
At Caribou, senior Amanda Cyr scored 11 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter as the Vikings outscored the Wildcats 20-10 in the period to earn the win. Presque Isle had topped Caribou 39-31 on Dec. 16. Jenna Selander had 11 points and Katie Ouellette scored 10 for Caribou . Kayla Richards paced the Wildcats with 15 points.
Houlton 51, Fort Kent 44
At Fort Kent, Lainey Herring scored nine of her 15 points in the fourth quarter as Houlton beat Fort Kent. Vanessa Sanderson led the Shiretowners with 16 points. Sam Carapellucci scored 16 points to pace Fort Kent. Breanna Thibodeau had 12 points and Emily Pelletier scored 10.
Medomak Valley 44, Erskine 32
At Waldoboro, the Panthers outscored the Eagles 19-8 in the third quarter to take the lead for good. Lacy Massengale led a balanced effort for the Panthers with nine points. Danielle Dyer and Mariah Jenkins added seven points each. Ashley Clark paced Erskine Academy of South China with nine points. Kaci Hudson tallied seven points.
Orono 62, Schenck 43
At Orono, senior forward Sarah Thibeault poured in 20 first-half points as the host Red Riots forced 21 turnovers in building a 40-10 halftime lead en route to a comfortable victory. Thibeault, who finished with a game-high 21 points for the 9-6 Red Riots, also had six rebounds. Coach Jessica Libby’s club never let a flustered Schenck of East Millinocket squad into the contest, as the Riots led 21-6 barely halfway through the first quarter, thanks to a full-court trap which the Wolverines could not solve. Junior Allison Sherman posted a double-double for Orono with 10 points and 11 rebounds while Jade Keezer chipped in eight points, five steals and four assists. Laura Nicholson and Sonya Brown scored 13 points apiece for Schenck, which drops to 5-10.
GHCA 40, Hodgdon 34
At Hodgdon, Kasi Parker scored seven of her 19 points in the fourth quarter to lead Greater Houlton Christian Academy past Hodgdon. Kari Brewer had 12 points for the Eagles. Cierra Willette led Hodgdon with nine points.

At Farmington, Sheri Valley totaled 21 points and 10 rebounds as Brewer beat Mt. Blue. Leah Jackson had 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals for the Witches. Sabrina Keach led Mt. Blue with 19 points.
Penquis 44, Piscataquis 24
At Guilford, Erica Lyford scored 16 points to spark Penquis of Milo to victory. Kelsey Ottman netted 12 points and Shelby Fowles provided 10 points for the Patriots. Megan Martell led Piscataquis with nine points.
Valley 56, Greenville 34
At Bingham, Jocelyn Laweryson scored 10 of her game-high 25 points in the first quarter as Valley bolted out to a 17-4 lead and never looked back en route to its eighth straight win. Cindy Schultz had 14 points for the winners. Miranda Drinkwater’s eight points and six apiece produced by Kaitlin Harmon and Sage Weeks paced Greenville.
Jonesport-Beals 69, Calvary 46
At Jonesport, Hannah Carver scored 16 points as Jonesport-Beals beat Calvary Chapel of Orrington. Sarah Smith had 13 points for the Royalettes. Lindsey Jones scored 11 points and BreAnna Beal scored 10. Hope Johnson scored 34 points, 26 in the second half, for Calvary Chapel.

At Houlton’s Millar Arena, sophomore defenseman Avery McGuire’s goal 2:22 into overtime enabled the Black Hawks to overcome a 54-save performance by Old Town goalie Dan LeBretton. LeBretton got a piece of McGuire’s slap shot from the point but the puck trickled over the goal line. Malik Abouleish made nine saves for 5-8-1 Houlton-Hodgdon. Old Town is now 1-11.

At Lewiston, the Bobcats outscored the Beavers 38-18 in the second half to earn the win. Brian Ellis led Bates with 21 points, while Chris Wilson of Brewer tallied 13 points and Nick Schmiemann 10. Josh Tanguay and Eric Taylor paced UMaine-Farmington with 13 points each.
Plymouth State 64, So. Maine 56
At Gorham, Jason O’Keefe tallied 16 points to lift the Panthers to victory. Ben Huntington and Tom Dowd scored 14 and 10 points, respectively, for the winners. John Sewall scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Huskies. Greg Whitaker contributed 13 points and nine rebounds.
CMCC 89, EMCC 72
At Auburn, Tyler Smithgall scored 19 points and Cam Angell added 12 points on four 3-point goals as Central Maine Community College gained the homecourt victory. Brandon Tomah led Eastern Maine Community College of Bangor with 15 points, while Ben Maloney had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Adam Knowles also scored 14 points for the Golden Eagles.

At Gorham, Kaylie DeMillo had 18 points and five assists to lift the University of Southern Maine over Plymouth State University. Haley Johnson totaled 17 points, five steals and eight rebounds for the Huskies. Kristi Violette added 16 rebounds and eight points. Kalie Judd led Plymouth State with 12 points.
Central Maine CC 81, Eastern Maine CC 54
At Auburn, Central Maine Community College placed five players in double figures en route to its victory over Eastern Maine Community College of Bangor. Tiera Durgin had 13 points and four assists for the winners. Michelle Holmquist and Sara Martin had 12 points apiece; Danielle Hebert had 11 and Britney Salley had 10 points. Katie Martin grabbed eight rebounds. Nikki Kaulback’s 15 points and five steals, Jessica Brown’s 14 points and 10 re-bounds and Theresa Spieldenner’s eight points and 10 rebounds led EMCC.
