LITTLETON – Gloria E. McNinch, 75, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1933, in Monticello, the daughter of Ray and Violet (Sewell) Prosser. Gloria is survived by four daughters, Linda DeLong and her husband, Jim, of Monticello, Regina Soper of Presque Isle, Deborah McNinch and her fiance, Greg Duguay of Littleton, and Mary McGillicuddy and her husband, Joseph, of Houlton; two sons, Richard and his wife, Teresa, of Littleton, and Edwin of Littleton; eight grandchildren, Tim, Brian, Beverly, Christopher, Jordan, Josh, Jayde and Alyson; and five great-grandchildren, Ellen, Kevin, Katilin, Tyler and Michael. Her greatest love was her grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn O’Donnell of Forest Dale, Mass.; two brothers, Lawrence “Buster” Prosser and his wife, Orrise “Sis,” of Medway, and Burleigh Prosser and his wife, Lee, of Foxboro, Mass.; several nieces and nephews that thought a lot of her. She will be deeply missed by all. She was predeceased by her brothers, Max, Ralph, Gerald and George; and one half sister, Tressie Crane. Family and friends are invited to visit 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where a service of remembrance will be held 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Wayne Robertson; and her grandson, Tim McAfee officiating. A time of fellowship will be held immediately after at Meduxnekeag Snowmobile Club. Spring interment will be held at Littleton Cemetery.
