DOVER-FOXCROFT – Donna B. Powell, 80, beloved wife of Alexander C. Powell, died Feb. 6, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1928, in Bangor, the daughter of William E. and Johanna (Murphy) Bridges. Mrs. Powell was a retired telephone operator, and she had belonged to the Mocutoc Club and Cosmopolitan Club, Dover-Foxcroft. She is survived by her husband, Alex of Dover-Foxcroft; a son, Dane and his wife, Doris, of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Alexis Cunningham and her husband, Philip, of Dayton, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Heidi, Chip, Chris, Robert, Peter and Vincent. Graveside memorial services will be conducted in the spring in the family lot at Rural Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Lary Funeral Home.
