BANGOR – Nancy M. Sergi passed away Feb. 4, 2009, in Rockport. She was born May 5, 1936, in Bangor, to Pheobe M. (Dugay) Hodgins and Victor R. Hodgins. She is survived by her eight children: six sons, Victor, Samuel and his wife, Candace, David and his wife, Stephanie, Steven and his girlfriend, Theresa Rice, James and Domenick Jr.; two daughters, Donna Nadolny and her husband, Henry, and Robin; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Sabrina, Samuel Jr., Craig, Emily, Scott, Nikki, Katie, Kristina and Ryan; and three great-grandchildren, Venessa, Aidan and Sean. She is also survived by a best friend, Barbara Kenney. She was predeceased by a best friend, Cathy Bryant, whose children she thought of as her own. She was a caring, loving and giving individual to many of those who she came in contact with throughout her life. At her request, there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of her life 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, at Domenick’s home, 10 Finch Lane, Hermon.
