TRENTON – Elsie Mae Scott, 91, died Feb. 27, 2009, at an Ellsworth health care facility. She was born May 13, 1917, in Princeton, the daughter of George “Henry” and Mary Ann (Lacoot) Scott. Elsie is survived by two daughters, Sandra Levesque and her husband, William, and Lorraine Gray and her husband, Virgil Sr.; four grandchildren, William Manchester and his wife, Moncia, Michael Manchester and his wife, Kerry, Karen Beers and her husband, Everett, and Virgil Gray Jr. and his wife, Anne; grandson-in-law, Patrick Elwell; 10 great-grandchildren, William, Lindsey, Evelyn, Katherine, Riley, Tegan, Robert III, Michelle, Kari and Tucker; five sisters, Mildred Scott, Charlotte Parker, Galdys Norwood, Alice Greenlaw and Hazel Fox; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one granddaughter, Laurie Elwell; and two brothers, Alonzo and Andrew Scott. A graveside service at Leland Cemetery will be announced in the spring.
