OTTER CREEK – Minnie Louise (Gray) Muise, one of God’s angels, died Monday March 9, 2009, two days short of her 94th birthday. She was born March 11, 1915, in West Sedgwick, the daughter of Andrew and Minnie (Torrey) Gray.Minnie retired from Jackson Laboratory after 35 years of service. Her life consisted of family, church, cooking and caring for others. She is survived by four sons, Warren and Dorothy Stevens of Bridgewater, N.J., Kelton and Janet of Trenton, Sherwood and Janett of Otter Creek and Barry and Ruth of Lamoine; two daughters-in-law, Barbara of Bar Harbor and Rose of Kennewick, Wash.; eight grandchildren; Robert, Andrew and Warren Stevens, Richard Webber, Leroy Muise, Melisha Muise Miller, Belinda Muise Albee and Kimberly Muise Schroeder; and her special great-grandchildren, Nicole and Tyler Stevens, Lisa Webber, David and Henry Muise, Clark, Madelyn and Abigail Miller, Brandan Albee, who shared her birthday, Caitlin and Chelsea Schroeder; considered as a granddaughter, Heather Parsons; nieces, nephews and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Joseph Edward Muise; a daughter, Jeannette Webber; three brothers, Russell, Stanley and Earl Gray; and two sisters, Marguerite McEachern and Katherine York. At Minnie’s request, a committal service will be held at a future date at Otter Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast.
