MILLINOCKET – Wilfred J. Levesque “Junior,” 71, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, with his loving family by his side at Millinocket Regional Hospital. He was born Aug. 27, 1937, in Millinocket, a son of Wilfred J. and Lucy (Ouellette) Levesque. Junior enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he was a career man. One of his duty stations was Misawa, Japan, where he met and married his wife, Hisa “Mo” (Kawana) Levesque. Upon retirement from the Air Force, the family relocated back to Maine living in Old Town for many years, nd more recently relocating to Millinocket. Junior is survived by his wife of Millinocket; one son, Richard Levesque of Bangor; a sister, Marie LaBlond of Millinocket; two brothers, Raymond Levesque Sr. and wife, Bernette, of Bangor and Rand Levesque and wife, Joyce, of Sullivan; as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Conrad Levesque and Reynold Levesque; and sisters, Rita King, June Ouellette and Arlene Ouellette. At Junior’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
