CATAUMET, Mass. – Ralph V. “Buster” Webb, 69, passed away March 14, 2009, at McCarthy Care Center, East Sandwich, Mass., after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Dexter, to Donald R. and Maxine B. Webb. Ralph served three tours in Vietnam. He is survived by his longtime loving companion, Beverly Triff, also of Cataumet, Mass.; son, Donald R. Webb and wife, Darlene Webb, of Sandwich, Mass.; son, Michael Kobs and fiancee, Jennifer Arnold, of Fort Myers, Fla.; and daughter, Sherry L. Webb of Owasso, Mich. He also leaves a brother, Rodney C. Webb and wife, Thalia, of Newport. There are several surviving grandchildren, including Allyson R. Webb of Sandwich, Mass., Bobby Ben Webb and Thomas Smith of Hyannis, Mass.; and stepgrandchildren, Nicholas and Zachary Parsons of Sandwich, Mass., Madison, Andrew and Kolby Kobs of Fort Meyers, Fla. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert A. Webb; father, Donald R. Webb; and mother, Maxine B. Webb. Services are planned for 10 a.m. June 19, at National Cemetery, OTIS Air National Guard Base, Bourne, Mass.
