BUCKSPORT – Russell Frank Foss, beloved son of Carol Foss, who was born Feb. 13, 1954, in Bangor, passed away Friday, March 20, 2009, after a long illness. Russell was a self-employed contractor in coastal Maine and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his country and his family very much. He is survived by his mother, four brothers and four nieces. Family and friends will gather for visitation 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Franklin Street, Bucksport, with Father Richard McLaughlin, celebrant. Burial will be in the spring at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Bucksport.
