DEXTER – James E. Prevatt Jr., 55, passed away March 21, 2009, at his home, due to a recurring heart problem. He was born Oct. 2, 1953, in Fairbanks, Alaska, a son of James and Aleta (Marshall) Prevatt Sr. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and collected swords and antique guns. Jim is survived by his parents of Lyman; a special lady, Brenda Kimball of Dexter; one son, James Prevatt III of Lewiston; a daughter, Jennifer Prevatt of St. Albans; two brothers, Terry and wife, Janet Prevatt, of Stratford, N.H., and Todd and wife, Melissa Prevatt, of Kennebunk; two very special grandchildren, Aaron Kimball Jr. and Tyler Dearborn; a stepson, Aaron Kimball Sr. of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant brother and sister. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
