BREWSTER, Mass., and MOUNT DESERT – Paul B. “Bruce” Travers, formerly of Sudbury, Mass., died March 16, 2009, after a long struggle with Lewy-Body disease, a form of dementia. He was born Nov. 1, 1929, in Boston, the son of A.J. and Dorothy Travers. Bruce graduated from Brighton High School and School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He was a devoted family man with successful career in sales and entrepreneurial pursuits. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jean (Allen) Travers; his sons, Bruce A. Travers and his wife, Julie, of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Matthew D. Travers and his wife, Jacqueline, of Acton, Mass.; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Mount Desert.
