WINTRHOP – Starr Rena Nelke, 69, of Annabessacook Road, died March 24, 2009, in Winthrop. She was born July 24, 1939, at Livermore Falls, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil U. Nelke. She was predeceased by a son, Ralph Michael Bourque, in August 2000; her father, Neil Nelke, in 1994; and husband, Richard Bourque, in 1986. She is survived by longtime friend and housemate, Pegganne Kilton of Winthrop; mother, Margaret “Peggy” Nelke of Livermore Falls; three sisters, Neila A. Nelke of Lewiston, Brenda Yeaton and her husband, Jack, of Franklin, Mich., and Darrah Osgood and her husband, Kim Osgood, of Clifton Park, N.Y.; one brother, Frank Nelke and his wife, Celena, of North Jay; and special friends for half a century, Joyce and Carleton Cote of Englewood, Fla. Family and friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 26, at Wiles Remembrance Center, 308 Franklin Road, Route 133, Jay, where funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday. A reception will be after the service. All are welcome. Winter entombment will take place at the funeral home. Spring interment will be at Water’s Hill Cemetery, North Livermore.
