CYR PLANTATION and TERRYVILLE, Conn. – Rodney J. Chabre, 50, died March 28, 2009, at his residence in Cyr Plantation after a long illness. He was born Aug. 22, 1958, in Hartford, Conn., the son of Richard and Maxine (Gagnon) Chabre. In addition to his father of Cyr Plantation, he is survived by his wife, Christine (Rounds) Chabre of Cyr Plantation; one sister, Norma Trepkus of Coventry, Conn.; and two brothers, Steven Chabre of Terryville, Conn., and Larry Chabre of Danielson, Conn.
