HAMPDEN – Adele Marie (Chartier) Rogers, 80, wife of Donald G. Rogers Sr., passed away peacefully March 29, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born July 25, 1928, in Watertown, Mass., the daughter of Leon and Marie (Pouliot) Chartier. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Donald of Hampden; her children, Susan M. Miller of Clay City, Ky., Joseph L. Rogers and his wife, Patrice Lastufka, of Winterport, and Donald G. Rogers Jr. and his wife, Susan, of London; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, David Miller. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 3, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden, where family and friends may visit noon until time of service Friday.
