PRESQUE ISLE – Ernestine (Bernier) Boutot, 93, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born June 7, 1915, to Theodule and Ozithe (Berube) Bernier, Fort Kent. Ernestine was predeceased by husband, Omer Boutot; two sons, Joseph “Raymond” in 2003 and Larry in 2006; a daughter-in-law, Joan Boutot 2006; and her only brother, Victor Bernier. Surviving her are one sister, Albertine Gardiner of Freeport, Roger “Stanley” Boutot of Kittery, Marie and husband, Winston Bagley, of Mapleton, Carol and Kenneth Allen of Presque Isle, Ronald Boutot of Presque Isle, Karen Boutot of Fort Kent, Edward and Susan Boutot of Presque Isle, Theresa “Teri” and Kirk Fergus of Tempe, Ariz., and James “Jim” Boutot of Castle Hill; and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Boutot of Mesa, Ariz. She also leaves behind 30 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. There will be a celebration of her life 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Mapleton United Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Phelps officiating. Burial will be after at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, North Main Street, Presque Isle.
