VAN BUREN – Carleen O. Madore, 76, died April 1, 2009, at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Cyr Plantation, the daughter of Onezime and Bertha (Violette) Ouellette. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dan Madore of Van Buren; two daughters, Peggy Madore and her husband, Herb Wheeler, of Daniels, W.Va., and Lisa Sieracki and her husband, Marcus, of New Richmond, Wis.; one son, Mark Madore and his wife, Joy, of Hurricane, W.Va.; two brothers, Herman Ouellette of Van Buren and Clayton Ouellette of Clearwater, Fla.; seven sisters, Violet Gagnon of Topsham, Christine Martin of East Hartford, Conn., Rachel Lajoie of Plainville, Conn., Joan Dumond of Pinellas Park, Fla., Jacqueline Labrecque of South Windsor, Conn., Della Bellefleur of Van Buren and Glenda Roy of Limestone; and three grandchildren, Jennifer and Craig Sieracki and Elizabeth Madore. In addition to her parents, Carleen was predeceased by five brothers, Jewel, Gerald, Harold, Raymond and Gilman; and three sisters, Geraldine, Gladys and Jeannine. Relatives and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be later this spring in the parish cemetery.
