OLD TOWN – Caroline Amanda Fogel, 84, wife of George Charles Fogel, passed away May 4, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 5, 1925, in Moore Township, Bath, Pa., the daughter of Charles William and Helen Mae (Bartholomew) Deemer. Mrs. Fogel lived most of her life in Pennsylvania, moving to Maine in October 2007. She was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of Bushkill United Methodist Church, Wind Gap, Pa. In addition to her husband of Old Town, she is survived by three children, Allen Fogel and Joan of Bethlehem, Pa., John Fogel and Jennifer of Old Town, and Jane Khair of Springfield, Va.; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles W. Deemer Jr.; and a son, George Michael Fogel. Funeral services and burial will be in Pennsylvania.
