BRADFORD – Doris (Baum) Drew, 91, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born April 30, 1918, in Monroe, Mich., the daughter of James and Matilda (Eagle) Baum. Doris was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed gardening and reading her morning newspaper. She was retired from the Bangor K-Mart and was a member of the Good Times Club of Glenburn. Doris is survived by her sister, Bertha Cameron of Hermon; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carlton Drew; two brothers and four sisters. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor of Hermon Baptist Church, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be after at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
