MORRISVILLE, Pa. – Richard C. O’Donnell, 66, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township, Pa. He was born and raised in Bangor, where he was a 1960 graduate of John Bapst High School. Mr. O’Donnell moved to Bucks County in 1962 and had resided in Morrisville, Pa., for the past 22 years. He was formerly employed with Reedman Chevrolet for a time and was most recently employed with Service Die and Cutting, Philadelphia, where he worked for 32 years until retiring in 2005. Richard was a member of Haines Road Baptist Church. He was an avid fan of all of the Philadelphia sports teams. Richard was the son of the late James J. and Alice Capen O’Donnell; and brother of the late Michael J. and Edward T. O’Donnell. He was the beloved husband of nearly 15 years to Sherri (Shoemaker) O’Donnell. He was the loving father of Susan Casper of Lisbon Falls and Daniel O’Donnell of Zephyrhills, Fla.; and was the grandfather of Brandon Casper and Dylan and Tyler O’Donnell. He will also be sadly missed by his brother, the Rev. Simon O’Donnell of Valyerno, Calif.; his sister, Mary Alice Curtis and her husband, Ashley, of Searsport; his brother, Timothy D. O’Donnell and his wife, Jewel, of Searsport; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday at Haines Road Baptist Church, 2601 Haines Road, Levittown, Pa.
