CASTLE HILL – Terry Lavway, 48, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 20, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born Sept. 27, 1960, in Presque Isle, the son of John and Dorothy (Easler) Lavway. Terry graduated from Presque Isle High School, Class of 1979. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, fiddleheading, trapping with Gary Carter, as well as cooking. Terry was also an avid Red Sox fan. He leaves behind his mother, Dorothy Lavway of Presque Isle; his father, John Lavway and stepmother, Rose Lavway, of Crouseville; wife, Lynnelle Lavway and their two children, Brooke and Ryan Lavway, all of Castle Hill; two brothers, Frank and Linda Lavway of East Chapman and Kendall and Linda Lavway of Mapleton; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Sheryl Grendell of Chapman; an aunt, Lois Boucher; three nieces, Shelly Brown, Jenny Chandler and Tracey Levesque; and a special nephew, Todd Lavway. He was predeceased by two brothers, Timothy and Jeffery Lavway; and two uncles, Milford and Clifford McHatten. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at West Chapman Advent Christian Church with Pastor Nathan Gardiner officiating. Friends may call 2 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place after the service at Castle Hill Cemetery. After the committal the family welcomes everyone to a time of refreshments in the church fellowship hall.
