BRADFORD – Our beloved little angel, Alyssa Marie Buzzard, 5, died tragically May 28, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident. She was born March 28, 2004, in Bangor, the daughter of William “Buzz” P. and Crystal L. (Black) Buzzard. She grew up in Bradford, where she spent her days playing with her two brothers, whom she absolutely adored. She was daddy’s little girl and mommy’s little helper. She attended Happyfaces Preschool, where she had many special friends. Alyssa couldn’t wait to start kindergarten in the fall. She also attended Bible school in 2008, where she learned many songs that she taught to other children. Alyssa loved High School Musical movies, and although she enjoyed doing many things, that was her favorite. Alyssa was a fun loving little angel who loved to sing and dance, dress up like a princess and fix her hair with hair pretties, jump on the trampoline, play cards and games, and go shopping to buy purses, jewelry, shoes and clothes. She also loved to swim and play at the park. She loved to bake and go to church with Grammy and sew and play with her Meme. She recently had a wonderful time at Acadia National Park climbing Bee Hive trail with her family. Alyssa was small in stature but had a big heart full of life, and will be greatly missed. Surviving in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Caden and Jacoby; maternal grandparents, David and Joyce Black; paternal grandparents, William and Helen Buzzard; maternal great-grandmother, Norma Black; paternal great-grandparents, Mary Maher and William and Mary Buzzard; very special aunts and uncles, Tom Hall, Amie Weymouth and her husband, Trey, Carrie Wilcox, Kim Niles and her husband, Shaun, and Jen Buzzard; and cousins whom she loved so much, Kaitlyn, Deanna, Destiny, Robert, Kylie, Mackenzie, Peter, Carter, Izak, Haylei and Madisyn. Relatives and friends are invited to call 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, at St. John’s Catholic Church, York Street, Bangor. Interment will be at Williams Cemetery, Bradford. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments after the services at Bradford Community Hall, 345 East Road, Bradford.
