HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. – Robert Leslie Burton, 51, was called home to be with Jesus June 1, 2009. He was born Oct. 26, 1957, in Phillipsburg, N.J., son of Robert and Carolyn Burton, and was a 1976 graduate of Lincoln Academy, Newcastle. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Gail Burton; daughters, Mandy and Heather; son, Robert Leslie Burton II; mother, Carolyn and her husband, Robert Reed, of Ellsworth; father, Robert Burton of Texas; stepfather, Reginald Moulton of Baer, Del.; brother, Sterling and his wife, Jean Moulton, of Vassalboro; brother, Jonathan Moulton and his fianc’e, Sarah Thompson, of Orland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Patsy Allen of Ridgetop, Tenn.; also many uncles, aunts and friends. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, at Hendersonville Memory Garden, Hendersonville, Tenn.
