SHERMAN STATION and BANGOR – Charles Leavitt, 65, passed away June 11, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memories, Noel Winslow and husband, Josh, of Essex, Vt.; Vanessa Leavitt of Saco; Amanda Leavitt of Macedonia; Jacob Leavitt of Biddeford; David Leavitt and wife, Sharon, of Bangor; and Elizabeth Bungard and husband, Allen and son, Craig, of Jacksonville, Fla. A celebration of his life will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Garden Cafe, 175 Exchange St., Bangor. In lieu of flowers, donation should be made to American Diabetes Association.
