LELAND, N.C. – Steve Matisko passed away Jan. 15, 2009, and Veronica Matisko passed away Feb. 4, 2009. Together they operated a small used furniture/grocery store on the Colby Road. They are survived by six sons, one daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They will be sorely missed and always in our blessings and prayers. Graveside services for Steve and Veronica will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, at Evergreen Cemetery, Caribou.
