LEE – Ruth Irene McCabe, 95, passed away June 21, 2009, at her home. She was born March 26, 1914, in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Wallace Edward and Clara Morris (Haupert) Dill. Ruth focused her whole life on her daughter. She enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts, loved to read and loved to spoil her daughter’s retired greyhounds. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Joan Comee of Lee; three grandchildren, Wallace Poto-Dill, Beverly Fitzpatrick and John, and Nicholas Poto; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Wallace Dill. Private services will be held at a later date. Those who wish may donate in her memory to Greyhound Options, Inc., 43 Sygiel Road, Ware, MA 01082.
