LINCOLN – Leticia “Lety” Hunter, 51, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009, at a Florida hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Antonio and Pacita Oliveros Dadral. She moved to the U.S. in 1980 and lived in Lincoln and Florida. Lety grew up in San Fernando La Union province, Philippines, where she met and married Richard Hunter. For the last five years, she worked at Hancock County Courthouse, Ellsworth. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted herself to her family, which also included many, many dear friends. She was a beautiful woman who put others before herself, making sure that everyone around her was provided for and taken care of. She will always be loved and be in the thoughts and prayers of her loved ones. Lety was predeceased by her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of Pensacola, Fla.; two sons, John Hunter of Florida and Antonio Hunter of Washington; daughter, Annalisa Everett of Florida; grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Brandon, Kaylie, Alyssa, Kiara, Wyatt, Joseph and Isaiah; a brother and sister in the Philippines; and too many friends to mention. A memorial service will be held 6-8 p.m. June 29 at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, Racetrack Road, Pensacola, Fla. In lieu of flowers, gifts in support of the family and cards may be sent to her son, Antonio Hunter, 16112 Northeast 14th Court, #L101, Bellevue, WA 98008.
