ORONO – Mildred R. (Anderson) Crossman, 89, passed on to her eternal home, June 21, 2009, in Orono. She was born Dec. 30, 1920, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Brown) Anderson. Mildred had lived several years at Orono Commons, Orono. She spent many hours putting together puzzles and doing wordbooks. At the nursing home, she was lovingly known as “Topsy,” her dad’s name for her. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews and cousins; a special couple, Wes and Roberta Moulton who visited her often, plus many other friends. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Leland Cemetery, Trenton, with Bishop Allan Strout from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, officiating.
