LINNEUS – Larry H. Carll, 52, passed away July 9, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. He was born May 10, 1957, in Houlton, the son of Wendall H. and Margery (Toby) Carll. Larry was self-employed in the logging industry for many years. He enjoyed family get-togethers, fishing, cookouts, Christmas parties, going to camp and NASCAR racing, along with the Oxford 250 race. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Vicki (Craig) Carll of Linneus; two sons, Larry W. Carll and his wife, Debbie, of Linneus and Travis C. Carll and his companion, Jenna Wotton, of Linneus; and three grandchildren, Austin, Breea and Noah Carll. He is also survived by one brother, Danny Toby and his wife, Gayle, of Linneus; two sisters, Stella Hanning and her husband, Bruce Hanning, of Houlton and Patty Faulkner and husband, Donald Faulkner, of Oklahoma City; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, along with many special friends; and his loving pets, Indy and Bridget. He was predeceased by both parents. Family and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at Dunn Funeral Home, where services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, July 13. Interment will be at Linneus Cemetery. After interment services a reception for friends and family will be held at Linneus Snow Club.
