WALLAGRASS – Lea B. (Ouellette) Theriault, 93, died July 28, 2009, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born March 29, 1916, in Wallagrass, the daughter of Honore and Jane (Corriveau) Ouellette. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of Wallagrass. She was predeceased her first husband, Donat Belanger; her second husband, Rene Theriault; one daughter, Artheline Theriault; one sister, Julienne Caron; five brothers, Adrian, Julien, Alberien, Lucien and Norman Ouellette; and one son-in-law, Elmer Charette. She is survived by four sons, Godrick Belanger and his wife, Cindy, of Rocky Mount, Va., Lucien Theriault and his wife, Betty, of Plymouth, Conn., Merrick Theriault and his wife, Sandy, of Bristol, Conn., and V. Joel Theriault and his wife, Charlotte, of Exeter; three daughters, Hilda Babin and her husband, Zenon, of Carrollton, Texas, Helena Rioux and her husband, Maurice, of Fort Kent, and Louella Charette of Bristol, Conn.; one brother, Roland Ouellette of California; 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call noon-2:30 p.m. Thursday at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Soldier Pond. Committal services will be after at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wallagrass.
