BASS HARBOR – Dr. Robert B. Martin, 71, died July 31, 2009. He is survived by his wife of almost 48 years, Frances Martin. A graduate of the Manlius School, New York University and Temple University, he spent his professional life first as a noted artist in New York City and later as a clinical psychologist in Philadelphia and Holland, Pa., retiring to Bass Harbor in 1992. Friends are invited to join his family 4-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, and 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the place he loved best, his home in Bass Harbor, to share in the beauty of this place, to celebrate life and to view the beauty that he created through his art.
