BROOKSVILLE – Georgianna “Jo” A. Blake died Aug. 3, 2009, at Northern Bay Residential Home, Penobscot, after a long illness. She worked along with her husband, Lawrence “Bing” Blake, for many years caring for many local families. Upon retirement she spent many hours enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Mark Blake and his wife, Susan, of Brooksville; her five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Clifford of Cape Rosier. Burial service will be private.
