ROCHESTER, N.H. – Rosanna T. Madore, 74, of 13 Lyons St., died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at Colonial Hill Nursing Home, after a brief illness. Born Oct. 7, 1934, in St. Agatha, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Leona (Madore) Thibeault. Rosanna raised her family in Lewiston, but moved on to Easton, retiring in a home on Cross Lake where she loved to kayak and spend many hours enjoying the outdoors. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, fishing, snowmobiling and riding her four-wheeler. The last two years Rosanna lived with her daughter in Rochester, N.H. Members of her family include her children, Brenda Johnson and husband, Kevin, of Rochester, N.H., Edwin Jr. and his partner, Lisa, of New Gloucester, Phillip and his wife, Sonhi, of Los Angeles, and Paul of Fort Fairfield; her grandchildren, Kevin Johnson II, Lucus Johnson, Matthew, Robin, Edwin, Mitchell, Andrew, Jessica, Kris and Karen; one stepgrandson, Scott Peters; a sister-in-law, Noella Thibeault and her children, Linda Bryant and Susan Little; with many other members on her husband’s side. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Thibeault; and her sisters, Pricilla Bates and Valenda Nadeau. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St., Lewiston. Arrangements are under the direction of R. M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., Rochester, N.H.
