HERMON – Patrick Henry Albert Burpee, 27, died instantly Aug. 23, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident in Shirley. Patrick was born Dec. 11, 1981, in Bangor, the son of Darlene Burpee. He was educated in Hermon schools and attended Hermon High School. At the time of his death and for several years, he worked for Steve Wiggin Builders of Hermon as a carpenter. Patrick enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, hunting, camping, four-wheeling and being with his friends. He is survived by his mother and father, Darlene and Jim Bell of Hermon; his maternal grandfather, Curley Braley of Hermon; paternal grandparents, Nunnie and Mike Bell of Hermon; three brothers, Mike Bell of Carmel, Matt Parker of Bangor and Rob Bell of Hermon; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A service of remembrance will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at Curley Braley’s, 849 Fuller Road, Hermon, with Pastor Brian Haggerty officiating. Immediately after the service a celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at the same location.
