HOULTON – Jeannie E. Stacey, 79, died Aug. 24, 2009, at a local hospital. She was born May 25, 1930, in Houlton, the daughter of Gilbert and Hazel (Estey) Deveau. Jeannie was a member of Houlton United Pentecostal Church and Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Stacey; stepson, Howard Stacey Jr., all of Houlton; granddaughter, Jan Clark and her family of Stockholm; her companion, Howard Stacey Sr.; three sisters, Nora Estabrook, Phyllis Deveau and Helen Taylor, all of Houlton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, eight brothers and six sisters. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn Funeral Home.
