GRAND ISLE – Theresa O. Beaulieu, 72, passed away Sept. 9, 2009, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born Nov. 2, 1936, in Cyr Plantation, the daughter of Albert and Laura (Grivois) Duplessis. Theresa was communicant of St. Gerard Church and lifetime member of Ladies of St. Anne. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Bellefleur and her husband, Marcel, of Grand Isle, and Sandra Gervais and her husband, Roger, also of Grand Isle; two sons, David Beaulieu and his wife, Gail, of Hebron, Conn., and Mark Beaulieu of Hartford, Conn.; seven grandchildren, Riechelle Burby, Keith Cote, Scott Beaulieu, Amy Michaud, Ashley Toussaint, Stacy Gervais and Shane Beaulieu; four great-grandchildren, Logan, Gavin, Connor and Ava; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Beaulieu, in 2005; her daughter, Nancy Cote, in 2006; her granddaughter’s husband, Shawn Cote, also in 2006; and by two brothers, Claude and Donald Duplessis. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at St. Gerard Church, Grand Isle. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Daigle Funeral Home. There will be no visitation Thursday morning. Interment will be after the funeral service at the parish cemetery.
