YARMOUTH – Janis Theriault, 60, died unexpectedly Sept. 9, 2009, at her home. She had been a member of this community for more than 30 years. She was born Nov. 2, 1948, in Fort Kent, a daughter of Jeannette (Michaud) and Fernando Theriault. She was a graduate of Fort Kent High School, Class of 1967. Janis worked as an administrative assistant for a local paper company and then an environmental services company. She will be remembered for her great love of cats, especially her most recent, Nicholas and Sweet Pickles. Janis was a quiet and reserved person by nature and enjoyed speaking with her family and sharing a good laugh. She is survived by her brother, Fernando Theriault Jr. and his wife, Cecile, of Connecticut; her sister, Rolande Roy of Connecticut; her brother, Roland Theriault and his wife, Bernice, of Connecticut; her sister, Anita Dionne of Connecticut; her sister, Pauline Nadeau and her husband, Bert, of Claire, New Brunswick; her sister, Rena Campagna of Connecticut; her sister, Theresa Michaud and her companion, Rejean Levesque, of Grand Falls, New Brunswick; her sister, Christine Chasse and her husband, Dan, of Fort Kent; 20 nieces and nephews, and a large extended family. Arrangements are under the care of Lindquist Funeral Home, One Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth.
