SHIRLEY – George E. Jennison Jr., 58, husband of Betty “B.J.” (Shaw) Jennison, died Sept. 13, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Kittery, the son of George E. and Carmen (Blair) Jennison. George was a graduate of Morse High School, Class of 1969. He was a self-taught woodworker and chain saw carver. He is survived by his wife, “B.J.” of Shirley; his mother, Carmen Jennison of Shirley; a son, Mark Jennison of Shirley; a daughter, Nicole Jennison of Greenville; two stepsons, Chad Oliphant and his family of Indiana, and Richard Barteau of Greenville; a stepdaughter, Mary Vincitorio and her family of Middlebury, Conn.; two brothers, Ernie Jennison of Bath and John Jennison of Shirley; four grandchildren, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be missed by his dog, Moose; and his Shirley Post Office buddies. A memorial Mass will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with Father Richard Malo, celebrant.
