THE VILLAGES, Fla. – Audrey Marie Good Fisher, 86, died Sept. 20, 2009. Audrey was born and raised in Monticello and lived in Falmouth for 20 years before moving to Florida. She was a member of Junior Women’s League of Portland. Audrey was the 1940 Maine Potato Blossom Queen. She retired after 24 years with Allstate Insurance Co. Family and friends called her the “Cookie Nanny” because she loved to make cookies for everybody. She was a member of North Lake Presbyterian Church, Lady Lake, Fla. Audrey was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Stanwood E. Fisher Jr.; and three brothers Herschel, Lawrence and Garth Good. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Stearns of Hampden; two daughters, Judith Fahey of The Villages, Fla., and Susan Edick of Hoschton, Ga.; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services for Mrs. Audrey Marie Good Fisher will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Lady Lake Chapel of Beyers Funeral Home with Chaplain Joe Walker officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
