BANGOR and BUCKSPORT – William S. Boober, 56, died unexpectedly Sept. 24, 2009, with his loving son and best friends, Michael and Michelle, at his side at a Bangor hospital. He was born in Bangor, the son of Donald C. and Adele L. (Crooker) Boober. Bill is survived by his number one son, Marcus W. Boober of Bucksport; the mother of his child, Elaine A. Boober of Bucksport; a brother, Everett Boober and his wife, Gail, of Charlestown, W.Va.; an uncle, Kenneth Boober of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and the entire AA community. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, James and Mark. At Bill’s request, there will be a private committal service at a later date. Arrangements by Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
