MADAWASKA – Normand R. Hebert, 68, passed away Oct. 8, 2009, at a Madawaska health care facility after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in St. David, son of Emile A. and Alma (Guerrette) Hebert. Before his retirement he was employed at Fraser Papers for 42 years. He enjoyed traveling and cherished the times spent with his children and grandchildren in Florida every winter. Playing golf with his family and friends was a true passion of his. His daily treat was driving to St. David to have his morning coffee at Hebert Bros. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Georgette (Nadeau) Hebert of Madawaska; his two children, Mark and his wife, Kathie, of Scarborough and Kim Enck and her husband, Bill, of Gorham; and his grandchildren, Sawyer and Griffin Hebert, and Abby and Aidan Enck. He is also survived by three brothers, Romeo and his wife, Vi, Reginald and his wife, Joan, and Robert and his wife, Jeannine, of St. David; his very special sister, Roberta and her husband, Danny LaBrie, of St. Agatha; his sister-in-law, Joan Hebert of St. David; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and two brothers, Berthier in 1952 and Philip in 2009. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska, by Father James Albert, where friends and relatives may call 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at St. David cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to remember Normand in a special way may make donations in his name to Edgar J.
