BANGOR – Nathan H. Turner Sr., 63, passed away Oct. 17, 2009, with his loving family by his side at his home. He was born Dec. 21, 1945, in East Holden, the son of Clarence L. and Bertha (Carnes) Turner. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Phyllis A. (Kimball) Turner; two sons, Sam R. Bradshaw Jr. and Nathan H. Turner Jr.; two daughters, Peggy M. Turner and Rose M. Turner; a brother, Winifred R. Spaulding; a sister, Ida Spaulding; two aunts, Ida Bishop and Mary Sickles; and eight grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. A gathering of remembrance for his family and friends will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at his home, 83 Bolling Drive, Bangor. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
