LIMESTONE and PRESQUE ISLE – Clarence L. McLaughlin, 44, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Sept. 1, 1965, in Heiledburg, Germany, the son of Clarence and Evangeline (King) McLaughlin Sr. “Tiny” as he was known by his family and friends, grew up in Limestone and in recent years moved to Presque Isle. He was a kind and helpful person who was also there to lend a hand to anyone in need. In his eyes everybody was the same and he never judged a person by outside appearance. He enjoyed fishing and going to Stockholm to visit family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Lisa Krotzer of Boise, Idaho, and Sharon McLaughlin-Anderson and her husband, Craig, of Stockholm; four nieces and nephews, Patrick D. Lausier Jr., Brandyn Krotzer, Chereyn Krotzer and Gabriella Joy Anderson; as well as many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Lancaster-Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, celebrant. After the service a reception will be held in the church fellowship hall. Interment will take place 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Limestone.
