GARLAND – Walter Emery Noyes, 64, husband of Violet (Stone) Noyes, passed away Oct. 24, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 1, 1945, in St. Johnsbury, Vt., son of Oris and Dora (Goodrow) Noyes. Walter is survived by his wife, Violet; son, Joe; three stepdaughters, Lisa, Melody and Rhonda; brother, Michael and wife, Debbie; and four sisters, Sandra and husband, Kip, Shirley and husband, Art, Sheila and husband, Dave, and Georgann and companion, Wayne. He will be missed by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Graveside memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Evergreen Cemetery, Garland.
