GUILFORD – Louise M. Yonkin, 80, died Nov. 13, 2009, surrounded by her family at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Greenville, the daughter of Frederick and Marion (Thompson) Fogg. Louise was a very private person who enjoyed living in her home on Oak Street, Guilford. She was a great mother and grandmother, and a loving wife and faithful companion of 45 years to her husband, Maurice. She is survived by her husband, Maurice L. Yonkin of Guilford; five sons, Larry McAfee and his wife, Kathleen, of York, Frederick McAfee and his wife, Joan, of Dover-Foxcroft, Morry Yonkin of Bangor, Bruce Yonkin and Penny Brown of Sangerville and Brian Yonkin of Sangerville; a daughter, Charlotte Turner of North Carolina; seven grandchildren, Dawn, Eric, Ryan and Matt McAfee, Cassie and Dustin Yonkin, and Joey Grunin; five great-grandchildren, Declan McAfee, Todd Wark, Ashley Wark, Chase Paul and Lennon McAfee; two nephews, Ronald Roderick and Walter Kelley Jr.; three nieces, Brenda Forbus, Mary King and Shirley Kelley; several great-nieces and great-nephews; an uncle, Elmer McFadden; a cousin, Daniel McFadden; and a special friend, Ruby Smith. She was predeceased by two sisters, Geraldine Kelley and Marion Roderick; and a brother, Gerald Fogg. Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
