BROOKLYN PARK, Minn., and BANGOR – Kyle D. Rand, 35, beloved son of Rosemarie Roberts and Bruce Rand, died unexpectedly Nov. 13, 2009, at home. He was born June 24, 1974, in Bangor. Kyle attended schools in Sullivan and Bangor, and attended University College, Bangor. He had lived the past six years in Minnesota, where he spent his happiest days with his young son, Landon. He will always be remembered for his big heart and being a great father who loved his son dearly. He is survived by the joy and sunshine of his life – his son, Landon; his mother and stepfather, Rosemarie and Glen Roberts of Florida; his father and stepmother, Bruce Rand and Ann Marie Golob-Rand; his brother, Jason; sister, Nicole, both of Minnesota; his maternal grandmother, Sonja Bernier of Maine and Florida; his aunt, Evie Martin of Texas; the mother of his beloved son, Jennica Ludke; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Irene Rand; two cousins, Joshua Nutt and Todd Martin; his aunt, Shirley Carrier; and his uncle, Bob Martin.
